KESS3 combines 3 operating modes in one tool. OBD, Bench and Boot mode.

Master or Slave? Buy what you need
 
The Master version can manage the SLAVE version.

The SLAVE version cannot modify files, it can only read and write files. Only the Master version can modify files.

A single flexible device that can be configured as required, when the tool is initialized, you can choose the mode of operation.
 
MASTER - The configuration that allows you to edit software calibrations in a completely autonomous way. The read files can be interpreted by your choice of remapping software.
 
SLAVE: If you are not confident yet or sufficiently autonomous in editing software calibrations, thanks to this mode you can work with a network of trainers who will support you file requirements.
 
DEALER-NETWORK: If you intend to create your own slave network of tuners, you will have a reliable and easy to use tool.

If you buy slave version and want upgrade to Master version, you can just pay for the price difference and get upgraded.
License you can buy:( You need buy any of those license to works together with your KESS V3 hardware. If you need buy more than one license, you can contact our customer service to get discounts)

When purchasing the device, at least one software protocol is required. The basic version cannot function without licenses and is not sold separately! Upon purchasing a protocol you will recieve software updates and free technical support and for a year. In the future, the subscription is renewed for an annual fee.

GODIAG GT100+ OBDII Breakout Box is a latest testing platform for OBDII protocol communication detection and ECU maintenance / diagnosis / programming / coding. Different from GT100 OBDII Breakout Box , this new version OBDII Breakout Box support CAN BUS protocol and add Current Display.

Q: Can I update slave version to Master version?
A: Yes, just for pay the price difference to get it updated.

Q: Old Kess v2/ktag accessroies compatible with KESS3?
A: Yes.

Q: Can I downgrade master version to salve version?
A: Yes, The price difference of the equipment will not be compensated

Q: What is the difference betwwen Master and Slave?
A: As a Master user, you can read the files in clear. This allows you to operate independently in order to remap and reprogram the ECU with modified files. As a slave user, only your master will be able to decrypt your files. (Recommended choice for taking the first steps in chiptuning, supported by your Master)

Q: Can i activate master license and slave license to the same device?
A: No, you cannot.

Q: How to check device serial number?
A: SN is on the back of the kess3 unit, or check in AlienSuite software. 

Q: Can i use the tool if subscription expires?
A: Yes, When the subscription runs out, the customer can keep working with his KESS3 and he will have access to all the protocols he had until its expiration date, except VR ones.
Moreover, he won't have access to:
- technical assistance
- VR function
- Cloning
- All the online services such as ORI file download.

Q: Can I unbind license if i purchase kess3 from othe dealer, then purchase license from you?
A: No possible to unbind device no matter where you buy the machine.

Q: If my subscription expires on 1 dec, 23, I don't renew it until 1 March 24, when does the new subscription expire? 
A:  From day it ran out.

Q: If when my master kess3 subscription is due in Dec, 24th, 2023 and l decide not to carry on paying. Can i have all the protocol updates if I pay for the subscription 6 month later?
A: Yes, you will have all protocols from expiry to renewal period.
